kisses from katie, by katie davis majors (review by jacob walker)

In my mind, this book is a story foremost of courage. An eighteen-year-old girl has the courage to tell the world that what it esteems is not what she esteems and the courage to live as though the foolish, weak, insignificant things are worth far more than the intellectual, strong, important things. Katie sacrificed everything that a “normal Christian high school graduate” should seek. This is the story of a girl who had incredible guts. I cannot read it and not look at my life and wonder “where can I have guts like Katie?” I hope this book inspires you, as it did me to have guts like Katie, like Jesus.
